Law Enforcement
The law enforcement aspect of Criminal Justice is the upholding of local, state, and federal laws. Tasks range from simple traffic stops, to building searches. Law Enforcement is all about the pre-court actions, meaning they take the cases to the courts, and give up oversight once they have reached that point. It is often referred to as the first pillar of Criminal Justice.
